A Bit About Me
Developer · Techie · Consultant
Hey! I'm Ngala Mike, a front end developer based in Nairobi, Kenya with a growing passion for both full-stack engineering and cyber security. I love turning ideas into products that look great and work flawlessly.
Over the past 4 years I've worked on real-world commercial projects — designing UIs, building React apps, and deploying to production. Right now, I'm pushing hard toward becoming a Full Stack Developer by end of 2026, while simultaneously building knowledge in Cyber Security principles.
I believe clean code, intentional design, and secure systems aren't separate goals — they're the same goal. Let's build something remarkable.
What I Do
From pixel-perfect UIs to secure deployments — here's what I bring to the table.
UI / UX Design
Creating wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces. I obsess over the details — spacing, colour, and hierarchy — to deliver experiences users actually enjoy.
Frontend Development
Building responsive, fast, and accessible web apps using HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JS, React, and Tailwind CSS. Clean code, no hacks.
Full Stack (In Progress)
Actively learning Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Targeting end-of-year full-stack capability — back-end logic, REST APIs, and database design.
Cyber Security
Building foundational skills in network security, Linux hardening, and ethical hacking. Security-first thinking integrated into every project I touch.
Deployment & DevOps
Deploying on Vercel, configuring DNS, managing Git workflows, and keeping things running smoothly in production. It works on your machine too.
Technical Consulting
Helping businesses and individuals understand tech stack decisions, website needs, and digital strategy — with clear, jargon-free advice.
